This project for a mixed use building in Clerkenwell is a joint venture between Mount Anvil and Notting Hill Housing Association. The building contains 161 apartments of which 2/3rds will be for private sale. At street floor level are commercial units for rent providing active frontage on all three sides of the site. There is a basement level car park with 32 spaces. An internal courtyard provides a quiet visual amenity at the heart of the scheme.

The elevations are detailed in a restrained manner using stack bonded brickwork and glass and metal balconies. Strong horizontal bands of concrete contain and provide contrast to the brick. The building is currently on site and Formation Architects are currently leading the design team in the production of the working drawings. Completion is due for late 2012.
